Joe Tippens' Story
"In 2016, I was diagnosed with terminal small-cell lung cancer. The oncologist gave me 3% odds of surviving the next year. After conventional treatment failed and my cancer returned, I began researching alternative approaches."
Joe discovered research from MD Anderson Cancer Center on fenbenzadole (the active ingredient in dewormers) and its potential anti-cancer properties. Combined with vitamin E, curcumin, and CBD oil, he created what became known as the Joe Tippens Protocol.
Joe claims he was the only patient out of 1,100 in his clinical trial to achieve complete remission. However, he was also receiving treatment in the clinical trial at the time, making it impossible to definitively determine what caused his remission.

What We Know About Patient Experiences
Understanding the limitations of anecdotal evidence
There are published case reports in medical journals describing individual patients who have used fenbendazole alongside conventional treatment. These are documented but represent single patients, not controlled studies.
Individual case reports. Not evidence of efficacy.
Many patients share their experiences in online forums and social media groups dedicated to the protocol. These conversations are public but unverified, and selection bias may overrepresent positive outcomes.
Unverified anecdotes. Cannot verify accuracy.
In 2019-2020, thousands of Korean cancer patients used fenbendazole, generating both positive reports and concerning safety data, including cases of liver injury.
Documented in medical literature.

Understanding Patient Stories
What Anecdotes Can Show
Personal stories are powerful and meaningful. They can provide hope, show what's possible, and inspire further research. Every patient experience matters.
What Anecdotes Cannot Prove
Individual stories cannot prove a treatment works. Without controlled trials, we cannot distinguish between treatment effects, placebo, coincidence, or other factors.
The Bigger Picture
The most reliable evidence comes from clinical trials. Patient stories are valuable for generating hypotheses and understanding patient experiences, but should not replace scientific evidence.
